Mint Tapas and Sushi Sandy
The journey of Mint comes a long way from the heart of Holladay, Utah. Soy’s first operated restaurant was called the ‘Rice Basil’ and was loved by all living in the neighborhood of Holladay. With his vision of delivering only the highest quality of food to the table, many followed him wherever he went. After Rice Basil, Soy opened a new and modern fine dining at the heart of State Street called ‘Soy’s Sushi bar and Grill’. Whomever walks into Soy’s can tell his visionary of the arts on the wall and greatly selected food on the menu. Deciding its time to own a place that is not very big yet the best in town, Soy decided to open Blue Marlin again at the heart of Sandy. Within a year only, he was able to attract another great customers whom always become the regulars of his. The transition of becoming Mint was derived from the vision of his dream of becoming the first Michelin Star sushi restaurant in Utah. Soy has never stopped working hard and delivering the best and continues to strive for improvement. We know our beloved customers are the key to our success and care deeply about their experience here at Mint.
